POP QUIZ! How do you get a symmetrical look on camera?

If you follow my posts, you likely know I’m a journalism professor and I often give my college students pop quizzes. They hate me for it, but you know what…they learn from their mistakes and never make the same one twice.

So in honor of them, I give you today’s pop quiz! WOOHOO!

It’s actually a super cool tip that I learned from image consultants over the past 15 years. No matter the company, no matter the consultant, they all said the same thing. In order to have a symmetrical look on camera, you MUST pay attention to the following facial feature. So here we go! What do you think it is?

a. lipstick

b. cheekbones

c. eyebrows

d. eyelashes

Ding ding ding…the right answer is…(pause for dramatic effect)…click on the link video below to find out!

I actually had a consultant go as far to say if she was stranded on a deserted island, she’d want her eyebrow brush and liner. HA! That’s how serious she was my friend! And it’s true. Here are some before and after pics.

Before filling in my brows:

See how the hairline isn’t complete?

And then I used a brow liner brush (angled brush) and took brown shadow and filled in my brows so they were even. Look at the difference! To top it off, I added MAC Girl Boy Eyebrow Brush to give a tint of red.

Can you see the difference? One simple tip that makes you look ten times better on camera.

If you think this can help a friend, pass it on friends. Pass it on!
